Colon Cancer

Oral cancer appears as a growth or sore in the mouth that does not goes away. Oral cancer, which includes cancers of the lips, tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth, hard and soft palate, sinuses, and pharynx (throat), can be life threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.

Mouth cancer is categorized by the type of cell the cancer starts to grow in. Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common type of mouth cancer, accounting for 9 out of 10 cases.
